another tian

It has been 2 months since I finished school, there were couple small shows, but  nothing really happened. And I was kind of lazy too, didn't do a lot of work, only a few woodcuts and linocuts, some unfinished paintings. and since there is no life drawing any more, we organized a drawing party every Saturday, each of us take turns posing and we all be able to draw. so here is one drawing of tian i made and framed by my self, the mat I cut was not so perfect but it kind of nice to frame a piece of work and gives the finished quality to it.

only 2 pieces did in the last 2 weeks. well, at least now i can paint what ever i want.

just scanned this picture I painted last summer, in Kathrine's studio. Had lots trouble to gain the likeness, like what Kathrine said, she is the hardest person to paint. last summer

just scanned some works did during the internship last summer,  portraits of Janice and Michelle, and the other portrait did in DVSA . when I was painting the portraits of Janice and Michelle, i was sitting really close to the them, and there is no room to step back, so I just couldn't get the proportion right, and there are still some awkwardness within the picture.
